dwell: Sarah of Frills for Thrills

The LORD your God is with you,
 the Mighty Warrior who saves.
 He will take great delight in you; 
 in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
 but will rejoice over you with singing.

 I absolutely love this verse because it speaks of God's love for us. He, the Mighty Warrior, is with us. Most of the Bible teaches us to love God more and to be satisfied in Him... which is all true, but I love how expressive this is of God's love for us. He delights in you!

 A lot of people view God as this powerful old man in the clouds who shoots lightening bolts from His fingers every time we do something wrong. When I read this verse, I picture a proud parent singing and dancing over me and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This is such a true depiction of God's love for us-- for you!
