dwell: Lindsey of Ruby Girl

"I am now going to allure her;
I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her.
There I will give her back her vineyards,
and will make the Valley of [Trouble] a door of hope
There she will respond as in the days of her youth"
Hosea 2:14-15

My name's Lindsey, and I've got a little fashion blog going called Ruby Girl. I've also got just the coolest hubby out there, who is as goofy as I am, enough to play the "snort" game with me to pass the time on the way to a family Christmas party. I just adore him. More than anything, I'm a daughter of the King. I love that... any of us ladies who have decided to follow Jesus are daughters of the King. Humbly dignified and glowing beauties in His eyes, with full access to the Kingdom.

This is one of my favorite verses, one of these I flip to when I need to remember that I don't need to work my fanny off to earn God's love. That I don't have to be perfect before I sit at His feet. Check it out,
"I am now going to allure her;
I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her.
There I will give her back her vineyards,
and will make the Valley of [Trouble] a door of hope
There she will respond as in the days of her youth"
Hosea 2:14-15
This invigorates me. My chin is up and I'm ready to take on anything with God's strength. I'm motivated to love Him by living His way, not mine. To slow down enough to listen to Him. To dance freely in His throne-room. I'm willing to let my own urges and inklings surrender to His, because He is a good good God, who loves me in the purest, most earth-shattering way, and for no stinkin reason!
