This being my first baby, I wasn't quite sure what I needed to have around her room or where I should actually put it. After talking to friends, I organized everything before she was born the way that I thought best. Five months later I have for sure moved things around to make it work better for how we live in her space. I love her room and the way it turned out, it feels like us!

How I organized:

I didn't want to purchase a lot of storage tools so I made do with what I had. I hope to show that can still have a place for everything without having to buy things or organize it in a way you could never re-create while actually living in the space.

little boys

two of my best friends are pregnant and this past weekend I went with one to do some baby clothes shopping for her little guy. I've always been so smitten with how adorable little girls clothes are and this shopping trip taught me that boys clothes are cute too. I also realized that I'm going to be really picky when dressing my future children.. I think that's a bad sign already. Check out some of these studs:

I am dreaming up some gender neutral room decor for a someday baby.

I don't want to find out the gender before it is born. This may seem "unlike" me to a lot of people as they know what a planner and organizer I am. {and this may change by the time I actually am having a baby but for now... }

I'm so dying to decorate a baby room. I still have a couple more years and a new house to get through first. BUT there are no rules that I can't dream about it.  I HATE PINK. I don't know why, I don't think I've ever liked it- I know I am "supposed to" but I just don't. I love the idea below of a white girls room with lots of color added in. No need to paint the walls... you're going to have to change it multiple times so you may as well start with white! I think it looks beautiful
