What are you all up to this weekend? This week I started coaching volleyball for the first time ever. I am the assistant to the JV coach which happens to be my sister in law :) We have had daily double tryouts all week long, which means I'm at the gym from 8 am-4 pm . I am having a blast though. I have never served so many volleyballs in my life and let's just say my shoulders are ready for a break this weekend!!

guest post: Michelle

Hey y'all! I'm Michelle, the girl behind Delighted!

I couldn't be more honored to guest post for Olivia this week! For Me is a treat to read, and now contribute to! And I so appreciate Olivia's heart for the Lord and great sense of style :)

Being from South Carolina and being relocated to South Florida, I have a thing for entertaining. Having people over for good food and great fellowship is just my thing, and summer couldn't be the more perfect season! (I'm also a big fan of summer table-settings, there I said it.) After throwing a couple summer shing-digs already this season, I'm learning there are a few musts for summertime entertaining.

First: Go Outside!
We've been waiting all year for warm weather and sundresses. Let's not stay cooped up inside, go outside! Play corn-hole or bocce while the burgers are on the grill.
1.2.3.
Second: lighting!
I'm a big fan of natural light, use it to your advantage with these long summer days!
1.2.
Third: Summertime Eats!
Enjoy the flavors of the season and make all the things you can't the rest of the year.

1.2.3
(ps: I've already made that blueberry peach fro-yo once this summer, it's bliss!)
Fourth: Keep it simple!!
Enjoy the season to be casual, don't go over the top, just be yourself :)

Enjoy!

& Remember to keep Olivia everyone at camp in your prayers this week!

TGIF!!!

Hello my friends!! It finally feels like summer, it's been way hot this week and I am ready for need  a tan!!

I'm headed to Sunriver, OR this weekend for one of my best friend Jill's bachelorette party!! I'm excited for the heat, the sun, eating lots of fruit, girl time, the pool, the river, lots of laughs and celebrating Jill and her wonderful upcoming marriage!

Makes me think of my bachelorette weekend last summer- a wonderful time on the Oregon Coast. We cooked, watched Friends, played on the beach, roamed the streets of Seaside and drank some wine.

{my sister must have been taking the pic}

We had SUCH a blast- so relaxing and exactly what I needed and wanted!

{sorry mags... haha}

What are ya'll doing this weekend?! What did you do for your bachelorette parties!?

and ps my #FF is my SISTER because I love her and she rocks. Go check out her blog and become a follower!! She leave for Africa in 3 weeks!!

summer plans

Now that I have a job all the the time, I don't get to share what my summer plans are because when you grow up they get boring-- no going to camp, no getting married, no laying out by the pool, no family vacations, no sleepovers, no late night adventures -- SO this is my little list of things I want to do this summer

{via yellow brick blog}

-take more pictures
-fit into my old jeans
-buy clothes I love
-do projects around the house- paint, new decor, new floors & counters
-make dinner almost every night
-make lunch for us to take to work
-drink lots of water
-get more energy
-spend time with Jesus every day
-have clear skin
-get really tan
-go thrifting
-ENJOY Portland more- actually DO stuff here (hiking, boating, downtown)
-drink lots of iced tea
-take care of my yard

What do you want to do this summer? What things do you wish you could do more often?
